   One of the hardest things about learning English, a lot of the meaning is conveyed in nuance rather than precise grammar.

   Tripping baaaaaaaalls

   And this sums up my love/hate relationship with English…

   This is one of my favorite and least favorite things about English. It’s kind of awesome that something so simple as stress can change the meaning… but it also makes the language insanely difficult to learn, and communicating this via writing? Yeesh.

   Every now and then something comes along that makes me realize why people say English is so hard to learn, and this is one of them.

   Whoa.

    Admittedly this is why I use emoticions excessively. I’m always just so paranoid about people misreading something that’s quite silly/joking as sarcastic or vicious. @A@
